“A danceable protest album if I ever did hear one — and I only just did in What If We Forget?. The burdens, pains, and dark silhouette of history are ours to reckon with. MaiCEE WaiVE and the Splash do just that.” -Ian Barker, Restless Amps Magazine, Lead Writer

"I don’t know what’s going to happen to this band. I just know that for one night in Albany, in a small club that smelled like beer and heat, MaiCEE WaiVE and the Splash made a room full of strangers feel connected. And that feels like something worth remembering." -Geno Marin, fan
MaiCEE WaiVE and the Splash are a late-’80s synth-punk/new-wave band that lives in the crackle between analog warmth and digital anxiety—danceable, defiant, and emotionally sharp. Fronted by MaiCEE’s raspy, sultry voice, the band blends pulsing synths, chorus-soaked guitars, hypnotic bass grooves, turntable static, and relentless drums into songs that feel half basement show, half neon-lit club. Their sound nods to post-punk, early new wave, and art-rock experimentation, but their heart is unmistakably human: songs about community, memory, technology creeping in at the edges, and the quiet rebellions that happen when people choose empathy over fear. MaiCEE WaiVE and the Splash don’t just play songs—they transmit signals, inviting listeners to dance, think, and feel on the fault lines of a changing world.

Look for them on Spotify, Apple, or where ever you get your music. Until then, feast your ears on these hits!
